As part of our Maritime group, the DevOps Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient development, deployment, and operation of our software systems. DevOps Engineer will work collaboratively with development, operations, and security teams to automate and streamline processes, implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and optimize infrastructure for reliability and scalability. Your expertise will contribute to achieving faster software delivery and improving the overall stability of our technology stack.
Further, the successful candidate will:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment of OS and applications
- Automate manual tasks using configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet) and scripting languages
- Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools
- Implement and manage containerization platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for application deployment and scaling
- Ensure the security of software systems and infrastructure through best practices and security tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and incidents promptly
About you
Your skills and experience will include:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Proficiency in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Significant experience with Linux, open source applications and tools management
- Experience with configuration management and automatic deployment tools such as Ansible, AWX
- Experience with configuration management and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
