About our Opportunity

As we continue to expand our footprint, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven professional to join our team as a Market Activation Executive to cover a maternity leave position on a 12-month contract. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving the success of our market expansion initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to activate and engage our target audience, ensuring the successful launch and sustained growth of our products and services.

More specifically you will:

  • Lead the Activation Program in Australia and New Zealand, working closely with the Sales team on connection, engagement and execution of all initiatives
  • Scope, create and analyse Market Activation campaigns for the Australia and New Zealand market
  • Create and own the Market Activation Calendar for agreed territories in the Australia New Zealand region
  • Identify the most effective marketing solution for a range of commercial Sales’ objectives
  • Review and process incoming requests in the ‘Market Activation’ portal on Salesforce
  • Act as the Key Marketing Lead on customer marketing programs ensuring agreed objectives are achieved
  • Utilise the Marketing Cloud platform to deliver effective EDM campaigns in conjunction with activation campaign objectives
  • Follow existing processes to maintain the team’s operational effectiveness
  • Support our tradeshow activity as and when required to drive lead generation and market positioning
  • Create and modify marketing and point of sale collateral as appropriate for use in different markets and regions
  • Supports the sales teams and distributors with new product information and sales tool kits
  • Coordinating/briefing product or campaign-based photography for Market Activation campaigns
  • Manage marketing-related expenditure in line with budget

About You  

  • 3-8 years’ experience in a Marketing/Marketing Executive/Marketing Coordination role
  • Bachelor of Business in Marketing or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to use project management tools for Market Activation campaigns such as Asana
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, DetIntel Salesforce, Marketing Cloud and design platform Canva
  • Understanding of Adobe Illustrator (Highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of packaging industry, and strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior
  • Flexibility to travel nationally and (infrequently) internationally
