The Role

Due to significant growth our AuctionsPlus team is growing and we are currently seeking Market Operators both full-time and casual to join our team. This position is best suited to a recent graduate who is keen to build a career in the Ag-Tech space.

We are seeking people who have a level of experience in a workplace environment and who have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service levels, an interest in sales and are looking to further develop or enhance their customer service/sales skill sets within the agricultural industry and with a reputable brand. This is a position where you are the first point of call for our customers and you will be the representative of our brand. 

The role will report to our Market Operations Coordinator and will require a high level of attention to detail, an ability to think on the spot and manage a number of priorities at any one given time. There will be on the job training provided to our new starters before we get you actively participating in the day to day. 

Other tasks the role will be responsible for include but are not limited to: 

• Handle all range of AuctionsPlus customer queries from agents, vendors, sale managers and platform users.
• Build strong brand recognition by consistently delivering exceptional customer service levels through problem solving, trouble shooting and timely response to customer queries via phone, email and other communication channels.
• Ensure auctions are delivered against the service level agreement accurately, professionally and on-time and are effectively marketed
• Build customer confidence in industry knowledge, AuctionsPlus products/services knowledge and the AuctionsPlus technology platforms.
• Maintain regular contact with livestock selling agents, producers and buyers to understand their needs and drivers for further enhancement of the AP brand, reputation and product/service range to ensure it meets customer needs into the future.

The option to work remotely will be considered!

What to expect

This role will provide the successful applicant with extensive experience across the livestock industry in marketing, buying and selling of sheep, cattle and wool, disruptive technology, social media, and design thinking.
