The Marketing and Recruitment Officer is responsible for implementing recruitment strategies for IMC. The role focuses on the recruitment of international students and professional training programs.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Experience and understanding of student recruitment and customer relationship management
- Marketing knowledge including direct Marketing and sales, online Marketing and social media
- Attention to detail, time management, problem solving and well-developed organizational skills
- An understanding of the international education
- A good experience for international student recruitment
- Excellent interpersonal skills including relationship building, liaison, public speaking and written communication
- Market research and analysis skills
- Organising and attending recruitment events, including presentations and workshops
- Being the first point of contact for students regarding enquiries relating to enrolment processes, application requirements, course details etc.
- Assisting the organisation with internal events such as open days and information sessions
Selection Criteria: Essential
- Knowledge and understanding of the Australian higher education industry;
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Completion of a relevant degree or an equivalent combination of relevant skills and knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Able to work independently with initiative, as well as collaboratively as part of a team
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

- Prior experience working in student recruitment
