Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role located in Drummoyne, NSW, for a Marketing Assistant. The Marketing Assistant will assist with the day-to-day tasks of the marketing team, including market research, event coordination, sales support, and administrative tasks such as preparing reports and presentations. The Marketing Assistant will also collaborate with other departments to help execute sales and marketing strategies.

As an All-Round Marketing Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and implementing various marketing activities, from managing the company website to crafting compelling copy and contributing to graphic design projects. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of digital marketing, proficiency in Adobe Suite, and the ability to take on a diverse range of tasks.
Key tasks:
Event Coordination:
- Support the planning and execution of events, and conferences, creating visually appealing event materials.
- Coordinate logistics and manage event materials.
Campaign Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, incorporating graphic design elements and compelling copy.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights for optimisation.
Graphic Design:
- Create visually appealing and on-brand marketing materials, including social media graphics, email templates, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging visuals for various campaigns.
- Ensure design consistency across all marketing channels.
Copywriting:
- Develop compelling and persuasive copy for various marketing materials, including website content, social media posts, and email campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing manager to ensure messaging aligns with brand voice and marketing goals.
Website Management:
- Take ownership of website content updates, ensuring information is current and aligned with marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing manager to implement design changes and optimise user experience.
- Monitor website analytics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Digital Marketing:
- Manage and create content for digital marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, and online advertising.
- Proficiently use Adobe Suite tools for digital asset creation and enhancement.
Qualifications
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Market research skills, including data analysis and reporting
- Previous experience in marketing, with a focus on graphic design, copywriting, and website management.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and experience with content management systems (CMS).
- Strong copywriting skills and the ability to craft engaging and persuasive content.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or related field is preferred
