- Strong understanding of various social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook.
- Experience with Adobe editing and presentation software and MS Office software.
- Experience with Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Be familiar with updating websites with regular new content.
- Copywriting skills, experience in creating copy that is engaging and aligned with BWM.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and willing to understand the business, the business aims and act in accordance with our interests.
- Have exceptional time management skills including the ability to manage competing and/or changing priorities and to deliver to deadlines.
- Be highly organised and willing to pitch in wherever needed.
- High attention to detail and process improvement skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be comfortable working in a team environment.
- Be willing to learn on the job and grow into the role.
- Work with discretion and confidentiality.
- A creative thinker with a knack for problem-solving, and a keen interest in staying ahead of industry trends.
- Knitting and crochet experience would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing:
- Assist with the creation and implementation of social, print, and traditional marketing campaigns.
- Assist with marketing collateral including product photography, YouTube videos, brochures, packaging, and DL cards.
- Determine marketing strategy to use for new products.
- Collect feedback and measure sales.
- Research on competitor activity, product ranges, and market pricing.
- Build a VIP group of advocates.
- Develop a loyalty program.
Product Development:
- Research on market trends.
- Assist with product development from conception to product launch.
- Assist Product Development team with ad hoc projects and tasks as required.
