Explore to learn more about us.About the Role: The Marketing, Communication and Events Lead at St Francis College will take a lead role in the development and implementation of the College’s internal and external Communication and marketing plans. The role holder will oversee the creation and editing of a range of printed and electronic marketing materials for the College, including presentations and brochures and will be instrumental in general communications support.Typical duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Be responsible for the Communication, Marketing and Events Management functions of the College.
- Promote the College both within the College and the wider community.
- Monitor and analyse communications and marketing budgets and resource usage.
- Draft financial forecasts/budgets (re: Marketing) at school level and provide advice to College Leadership Team.
- Promote consistent communications and branding standards across the College.
- Lead media relations management including outreach to local media and responding to media requests.
- Oversee and coordinate the creation of promotional materials and Events to enhance the image of the College.
- Create and manage social media marketing of the College.
- Lead the coordination of major College events.
- Formulate procedural policy and guidelines for the College’s communications and marketing functions.
- Provide support, advice and recommendations to the Principal with detailed knowledge of communications and marketing policies and strategies.
- Draft promotional and advertising material requiring judgement concerning content and design.
- Design promotional and marketing plans.
- Maintain the various noticeboards and signs advertising the College facilities and or events.
- Administration of the College website.
- Review annually the College prospectus and enrolment material and advise the Principal of the review.
- Oversee suitable advertisements for special events and other activities as required.
- Prepare media statements in relation to activities associated with the College.
- Assist with promotional work of Celebration of the Arts, Talent Quest, St Francis Day, and other special activities.
- Preparation of historical books and reference material.
- Attendance at major College events to take photographs, gather data and prepare media releases.
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
