Your Opportunity Reporting to the Manager Community Experience, the Sponsorship and Events Lead is responsible for establishing, coordinating and maintaining the Sponsorship and Events Program. This program builds deep relationships with customers, external businesses and internal teams to support and build an understanding of connection to the community that Urban Utilities deliver services to.  Key Responsibilities Include  Develop and implement events and sponsorship program and plans. Establish collaborative partnerships across community, industry, and priority sectors through stakeholder engagement, identifying potential business opportunities. Represent the organisation in community, industry, professional and public forums to enhance our Urban Utilities brand and reputation and to improve community understanding of our services. Collaborate with internal stakeholders for a coordinated approach to external community and industry events, aligning with Urban Utilities' strategic goals. Facilitate and manage the provision of Urban Utilities-branded event materials, merchandise, and equipment for both internal and external events. Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all materials. Develop and manage budgets for events and sponsorships, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation. Effectively communicate sponsorship policies, strategies, and guidelines to internal and external stakeholders. Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries related to sponsorship initiatives. ABOUT YOU We are seeking candidates who are passionate about shaping our future, and ideally have the following qualifications, skills and experiences: Loves to develop and manage relationships with community partners to build mutually beneficial partnerships Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage stakeholder relationships, finding out their needs, issues, and concerns and responding to these to support our people and communities Experience in managing and negotiating Sponsorship and partnership agreements Experience in managing issues on complex projects that impact our communities Passionately advocates for our communities' needs and represents our communities' voices in relevant business decisions. Experience in coordinating organisational process and Events. Certification in IAP2 (desired, but not essential) Have energy and drive to be a face of the business and voice to the customer and a complete go getter to make things happen.
