The Role:

Fitness Cartel is rapidly growing, and whilst we have many marketing talents, we now have an exciting fulltime opportunity for a detailed-orientated Marketing superstar to join our marketing team.

In this important role, you will be responsible for generating compelling, creative and consistent content for our social media channels, ensuring it aligns with the company’s brand and resonates with target audiences. You will work with photographers, designers and more to create this content. A deep understanding of social media, scheduling platforms, various design software packages and reel creation is necessary for this role. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging campaigns for new memberships, franchising, retail, eCommerce (Fitness Cartel Apparel), Merse Wellness and other sub-brands for mass market saturation.
• Assist in the planning and execution of promotional events, trade shows, and other marketing-related activities. Coordinate logistics, vendor management, and promotional materials for such events.
• Develop compelling content for marketing materials, including website copy, blog posts, social media posts, text and email newsletters.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and videographers to create visually appealing content that aligns with brand guidelines.
• Manage and maintain the Group's social media profiles, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms as directed. Monitor social media channels for trends and engagement opportunities, and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
• Analyse data and metrics to evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and make recommendations for optimisation.
• Use of various software to deliver results, such as MailChimp, WordPress, Canva, Digital Stack, Photoshop.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role, with experience in fitness/ sport / health / beauty industry is preferable.
• Relevant qualification in Marketing.
• Ability to showcase your work – provide details on successful campaigns you have created & implemented.
• Understanding of comprehensive marketing strategies including social media, visual advertising, direct marketing, apparel, B2B marketing.
• Strong social media marketing experience, primarily with Meta in organic and sponsored posts.
• Prior experience with EDM and automation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus (Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva experience.
• Experience with marketing analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Later.com, Google My Business Profiles, Link.tree) is a plus.
• A proven track-record of generating sales leads through marketing strategies.
• A creative individual with excellent communication skills.
• A "can do" attitude with a continuous-improvement mindset.
• A passion for health & fitness & eagerness to work for the industry.
• Be reliable, proactive, punctual, professional & well-presented.
• Have a strong work ethic.
• Be highly motivated & an adaptable team player with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer literacy & ability to learn new systems.
• Have flexibility to travel to the different clubs.
• Have Australian working rights.

We currently have 10 locations, & our goal is to have more than 60 clubs by 2029! We have more than 30,000 members, are opening six to eight clubs per year, AND are about to launch two NEW brands.
