About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our small yet impactful marketing team. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in coordinating and executing our internal and external marketing strategies. You’ll drive the elevation of the Schlam Cru brand, ensuring our messaging resonates deeply with our target audience and supports our strategic objectives.
Your day-to-day deliverables
- Internal Communications: Utilise your creativity to engage our team, drive key initiatives, and assist with projects like employee inductions, document control, and wellness programs.
- Content Creation: Craft engaging written and visual content that tells our brand story and highlights our value propositions across multiple channels. Write compelling blogs and articles that support our marketing efforts and enhance our online presence.
- Event Coordination: Organise and manage memorable events, such as staff family days and trade shows, ensuring every detail is meticulously executed.
- Social Media Management: Oversee content scheduling, engagement, and performance tracking to keep our social media presence effective.
- Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, coordinating photoshoots, film projects, and creating supporting materials that captivate our audience.
- Administrative Support: Provide crucial administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining marketing calendars, ordering merchandise, and processing purchase orders.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of marketing experience, ideally in a related industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A talent for crafting compelling content; Graphic design, photography, and video editing skills are highly desirable.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other content creation tools.
- Experience with digital marketing platforms such as social media management tools, WordPress, and analytics software.
- A collaborative spirit and a positive mindset to effectively thrive in a team environment.
- Exceptional time management skills, with a proactive attitude and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality outcomes.
