Job description

Darwin Trailer Boat Club is the Darwin's most dynamic Club boasting a stunning waterfront location & a multi award winning Bar and Bistro. We have an exciting and varied annual events calendar and fully engage with many community events.
We are looking for a person with a solid understanding of marketing principles and experienced in coordinating events. Hospitality experience would be ideal too.
We need a person with high professional standards, a team player, with the solid organizational and multitasking skills. Someone who works well in chaos with good attention to detail and is proficient in content management systems, email marketing tools, and analytics platforms. Being tech savvy is a must, it's advantageous if you have experience in WordPress and CANVA.
Your role will be to manage Darwin Trailer Boat Club's marketing and coordinate the annual events schedule.
You will manage all DTBC social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) and maintain the online presence, including website, and other digital channels. You will use social media to promote the Club’s upcoming events and post regular content. You will also be responsible for managing the newsletter content and posting weekly Enews to our 2500 club members.
The events that you coordinate would vary in sizes and the communication approach based on the target audience of each event such as Beach Parties, Monthly Car Boot Sales, Fishing Competitions (including the Coopers Blue Water Classic), Charity Fundraising Events and Seasonal Events.
You should also be able to develop a marketing plan for each department's growth objective (events, memberships, bar and bistro) and implement strategies to support the overall program.
The position attracts a generous salary, delicious staff lunches and your office is basically on the beach. Plus, you get to work with a brilliant, diverse bunch of people.
Salary: $70,000 - $79,000 a year
Position: Full-time
Location: Fannie Bay NT
Please get in touch with us if you want the chance to work in a varied and exciting leadership role at a vibrant, busy Club.
