The Role:
As Marketing Director reporting directly into the CEO, you will be instrumental in amplifying global brand presence. Based in Sydney and supporting the global team, your role will involve championing the brand narrative, strengthening existing partnerships, and capitalising on new market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive marketing plans to enhance brand presence and drive visibility domestically and globally.
- Work with creative partners/agencies to implement communications strategies across multiple channels (digital platforms, content, trade, PR, internal & external comms).
- Actively influence and represent the brand in the public domain, encompassing media relations, conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients/customers to maximise visibility and leverage partnership opportunities.
- Drive commercial brand performance through data-driven
decision-making and deliver meaningful insights for new market opportunities. - Promote internal and external success stories, spotlighting achievements to foster a culture of continual learning.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of the competitive environment and market trends, identifying emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (globally) to provide essential tools and marketing materials.
- Foster robust relationships with the senior executive team, the broader internal team globally, industry partners, and vendors.
We are seeking a dynamic, genuine, and innovative Marketing Director - a committed self-starter with a positive attitude and:
- 10+ years B2B marketing expertise with a global communications and partnership focus.
- Relevant sector experience in QSR or food/retail would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to drive new initiatives.
- Clear and impactful media-facing messaging across a range of audiences.
- Innovative and creative thinking, maximising available resources.
- Demonstrated analytical capability, manipulating data to inform decision-making and capitalise on new opportunities.
- Commercially-minded approach, representing the brand's best interests at all times.
- Financial acumen to effectively manage budgets and track marketing communications ROI.
- Positive attitude, able to work collaboratively, pivot when needed, and build rapport quickly.
- Tertiary qualification in marketing/communications/business-related discipline.
