The Marketing Director, with a deep understanding and extensive career of dynamic marketing, leadership, category growth and product innovation will and will have a real vision to set out the growth agenda and steer the direction of the long-term brand marketing strategy for McCain Foods. You will:
- Develop and articulate a clear and innovative long-term Marketing strategy which is aligned to the business’s 5-year vision.
- Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and identity, ensuring consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
- Drive initiatives that enhance brand equity and loyalty.
- Collaborate closely with other key departments such as Sales, Category, R&D, and Operations to ensure integrated and cohesive strategies that drive overall business success.
- Drive innovation in product offerings and packaging, ensuring alignment with consumer preferences and market trends
- Work closely with the R&D & Sales teams to bring new and exciting products to market.
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive digital marketing and e-commerce strategies to optimise online presence, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring that marketing initiatives enhance the overall customer experience and build strong, lasting relationships with our consumers.
- Inspire and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a collaborative and creative work environment that increases team engagement.
- Integrate sustainability and social responsibility initiatives into marketing strategies, aligning with corporate values and meeting the expectations of socially conscious consumers.
As the Marketing Director, you'll be expected to bring strategic vision, analytical and commercial acumen, and the ability to make decisions that drive positive change. You'll also have:
- 15 years’ experience in marketing, sales or consumer insights within the FMCG sector.
- Proven experience in building differentiated brands and brand equity in an FMCG environment.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and the evolving landscape of consumer behaviour.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Innovative mindset with a keen eye for market trends and consumer insights.
- Strong commercial acumen and financial know-how in the retail FMCG context.
- Strong people management skills and demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Outstanding story telling ability to enable connection with our audience on a deeper level, communicate complex messages effectively, and create a lasting impression that goes beyond the transactional aspects of our products.
- Excellent communication skills and strong ability to influence people and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and customers
