Every month, 12.8 million Australians trust us to deliver breaking news, investigative journalism and unmissable analysis on the issues that matter.
We are looking for a talented and data-driven Marketing Executive to deliver subscriber engagement growth for the Australian Financial Review.
You will be responsible for helping deliver marketing campaigns to grow our subscription revenue across digital and print. You'll help develop engagement opportunities for the Australian Financial Review using data and insights to deliver a continuous program of work to engage and retain our subscriber base.
You will collaborate closely with your Consumer Subscriptions & Marketing team colleagues to execute strategic and tactical marketing plans to achieve revenue and ROI goals.This is an exciting full-time permanent opportunity for a talented and ambitious marketer to join our team and help continue to grow our digital subscription business.
What you'll do:
Develop and execute engagement campaigns for the AFR to drive retention objectives and achieve revenue goals.
Own the creative development process for campaigns, working with our in-house design team and copywriter, and external creative teams when required and in accordance with brand guidelines.
Using behavioural data and subscription insights, you'll help build compelling messaging and triggers to further engagement and improve retention across the subscriber customer lifecycle
Contribute new ideas and thinking to help drive innovation to ensure subscribers feel connected with our newsrooms and part of our community
Conduct ongoing campaign tracking, testing, reporting and analysis to form and communicate insights.
Build strong and open relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Editorial, Customer Service, Media Agencies and Partners..
Ensure effective campaign management processes, including creative approvals, budget reconciliation, campaign tracking and documentation.
Qualifications
Who you are:
A self starter with experience in an Engagement role or similar.
Experience in end-to-end marketing and campaign management, including campaign planning, creative briefing, execution and post-campaign analysis.
Equipped with strong direct channel experience, including email and house channels.
Experience with CRM or marketing automation tools is desirable but not essential.
Proven ability to meet deadlines, multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail.
Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive.
Strong communication and collaboration skills including developing strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Experience with Salesforce or similar platforms will be an advantage.
