As the Marketing Executive, Retail you will work closely with the National Marketing Manager, Retail to plan and execute Dexus retail campaigns across the portfolio, work closely with centre marketing teams to support the implementation of marketing plans, budgets, and campaigns, and manage an upcoming Integration project, onboarding a number of retail precincts on to the Dexus systems
This functional role is critical in providing best practice marketing and communications support to the Retail Marketing business, to support the retail centre activities to maximise centre performance, brand and operational efficiency.
How you will make an impact
A fast-paced retail environment, you will work closely with a range of stakeholders across the business and be responsible for managing several activities. Working closely with the National Manager, Retail and the National Retail Marketing team, you will ensure consistent and streamlined brand messaging is delivered across the centre’s full communications suite including advertising, social strategy, PR and that all digital customer touch points are engaging, rich and are maximising the digital and physical platform.
Other duties include:
- Support the annual Marketing Plan process to maximise customer traffic, retail sales turnover of retailers and enhance the centre as the retail venue of choice for customers within the centre’s trade area.
- Manage the available centre marketing funds with a view to achieve maximum return on investment cost efficiencies.
- Develop relationships with national retailers to ensure maximum involvement in centre marketing opportunities to drive sales and awareness.
- Support the compilation of national monthly sales report and complete monthly Sales Commentary dashboard reports to provide insights on portfolio performance.
- Work professionally, positivity and cooperatively as part of Dexus, and model the values of Excellence, Integrity, Empowerment, Innovation and Collaboration.
Along with your strong written and copywriting skills, you will thrive on developing relationships and managing expectations across all levels of a business. You will be outcome focussed, able to project manage effectively and work to set timeframes.
- Demonstrated marketing experience in retail shopping centres, national retail marketing or comparable industry
- Demonstrated success in campaign development, project management and delivery
- Demonstrated experience in partnership procurement and management
- Highly proficient in the digital arena with skills in the digital space
- Advanced knowledge of social media forums
- Strong understanding of marketing campaign measurement and reporting (ROI).
