Job Summary:
As a Marketing Graduate at Women in Technology WA, you will be vital in executing our marketing strategies. This position involves writing newsletters, managing HubSpot lists, updating content on our WordPress website, and overseeing the creation and posting of social media content across platforms using Hootsuite. Additionally, you will attend events to manage filming activities. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent Marketing Graduate to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the growth of an organisation committed to advancing women in STEM.

In your role as a Marketing Graduate, you will get the opportunity to meet incredible women - and share the stories and achievements of 100's of those women. You will investigate careers of the future - and raise awareness of the future landscape in WA to students, teachers, parents and careers advisors. Your work will help connect women with each other and opportunities through effectively marketing our numerous events. Your work encourages women to boldly nominate for our awards; it provides a place for our members to have a voice on issues affecting them and their career journies. You will get to capture and re-tell those "aha" moments in students when you see the spark of inspiration at a Techtrails school incursion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Newsletter Management:
- Create and write engaging newsletters using HubSpot.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather content and updates for newsletters.
- Schedule and send newsletters to the appropriate lists.
- HubSpot List Management:
- Maintain and update contact lists in HubSpot.
- Implement segmentation strategies for targeted communication.
- Website Content Updates:
- Using WordPress, upload and update images, copy, and other content on the Women in Technology WA website.
- Ensure the website reflects the latest information and aligns with the organisation's branding.
- Social Media Management:
- Write and post engaging content across Women in Technology WA's social media platforms.
- Utilise Hootsuite to schedule and manage social media posts.
- Monitor social media channels and engage with the community.
- Design: Use Canva (with many existing WiTWA branded content) to create designs across social media, EDMs and website
- Event Support:
- Attend WiTWA events to manage filming activities.
- Collaborate with the events team to capture engaging content for promotional purposes.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyse the performance of newsletters, website content, and social media efforts.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with marketing tools, e.g. HubSpot and Hootsuite.
- Basic understanding of WordPress for website content management.
- Enthusiastic and proactive approach to tasks.
- Any experience writing video briefs would be an advantage.
