Your Assignment |
As a Graphic Designer, your role is to create visually appealing and effective designs that communicate messages effectively. You'll collaborate with clients or team members to understand project requirements, develop concepts, and produce design assets for various mediums, including digital and print. Your creativity, attention to detail, and proficiency in design software will be key assets in delivering high-quality design solutions.
- Monthly campaign assets + product EDMs, website, social assets
- Ability to create visually appealing designs that are suitable for print production.
- Understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design.
- Familiarity with various printing techniques and processes (offset, digital, screen printing, etc.).
- Knowledge of print specifications, including file formats, resolutions, and colour modes (CMYK vs. RGB).
- Experience in preparing files for print, including setting up bleeds, crops, and trim marks.
- Strong project management skills to oversee the entire design-to-production process.
- Effective communication with printers and vendors to ensure production specifications are met.
- Ability to handle timelines, budgets, and production schedules efficiently.
- On-site 5 days per week, working alongside the Marketing team
- 6-month contract position with potential extension
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role

- Graphic Design Skills: Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with a strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, typography, and image editing.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on small details while maintaining the overall design vision, ensuring accuracy in layout, spacing, alignment, and colour usage.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with clients, understand project requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback into revisions.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration: Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborate with other designers, copywriters, and stakeholders, and contribute ideas while also being open to feedback and suggestions.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical and creative thinking skills to identify design challenges, propose solutions, and make informed decisions that align with project goals and objectives.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to different design styles, brand guidelines, and project requirements, while also staying updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in graphic design.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs.
