About the role



Salary Range: $131,094 - $151,609 pa - Superannuation - Annual Leave Loading.

Position Type: Ongoing – Full Time – Clerk Grade 11/12

Location: Corrective Services Industries (CSI) Corporate Office - Berkshire Park NSW


This is a new role that requires someone with extensive experience in marketing and brand promotion, especially with digital content creation and market trend analysis.

The CSI Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of CSI marketing plans and strategies, product concepts and promotional programs to drive sales with Government and Private Sector markets. The role will be responsible for all digital marketing platforms ensuring information is current and content is aligned with organisational, commercial, and social objectives relating to, sales catalogues, events schedules, the preparation of presentations and business unit performance reports.


Key Accountabilities


  • Provide high level expert advice to the Director Business Engagement on marketing and communication strategies across a range of platforms.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and brand promotion framework, an annual marketing plan and associated budget.
  • Deliver comprehensive market analysis and circulate regular market insight reports that support the targeted expansion of CSI’s customer base ensuring inmate employment opportunities support post release employment pathways.
  • Enhance and monitor digital sales platforms to meet business growth goals and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve the quality, usability and accessibility of sales platforms.
  • Oversee promotional activities to bolster government and private sector business engagement ensuring a robust marketing calendar of events is planned and executed in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development, execution, and measurement of the Customer Service Plan, including annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly monitoring and reporting processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies and tools for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of customer service, including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, and performance metrics.
  • Drive a culture of customer centricity, collaborating with the rest of the business to tell a consistent and impactful brand story.
  • Provide strategic advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues to support project development and delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other project priorities.

Essential requirements


  • Sales and Marketing or media related qualifications and / or extensive related experience
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle while performing the role.
  • It is an essential requirement of the role that successful applicants are fully vaccinated and able to provide acceptable proof of vaccination status.

It serves a key function of the NSW Communities and Justice Sector by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported.


Corrective Services Industries (CSI) operates 14 business divisions encompassing 109 business units throughout NSW Correctional Centres. Engaged in the manufacture and provision of a diverse range of products and services for both public and private sectors.
