REPORTS TO: Human Resources and the National Marketing Consultant with regular contact to National Ticketing Manager and external National Marketing Consultant.

Crossroads Live Australia is seeking a Marketing Manager - Productions to join their team, based in the Sydney office.
The role offers the opportunity to work from home/work from office arrangement and the opportunity to drive the marketing for some of the worlds most loved productions.
Responsibilities & Duties
The Marketing Manager - Productions is expected to liaise with such people as is required and directed in the process of readying a production for presentation. People such as (but not limited to):
- Primarily, National Marketing Consultant and National Ticketing Manager
- Executive Producers
- Production Associates
- Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer
- Venue Administration
- Company Management
- Marketing, Publicity and Ticketing Departments
- Sponsor partners and Government authorities
- Ticketing Companies
The Marketing Manager - Productions responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Work with the marketing, promotions, social, publicity and ticketing teams to develop overarching strategies for productions that overline key positioning and campaign flighting.
- Oversee campaigns for productions ensuring that marketing, publicity, and ticketing strategies are complementary.
- Monitor the roll-out of the marketing strategy and adjust as required based on sales (in consultation with the National Ticketing Manager); show analysis; and regular competitor and market reviews.
- Liaise with overseas marketing teams and general management companies as required.
- Manage the day-to-day relationships with production advertising agencies and publicists.
- Manage the brand for the productions for Australian tours.
- Manage creative briefings and approvals, with input where appropriate from the Producers and Associate Producer.
- Work with advertising agencies to manage the marketing budgets.
- Be responsible for signing off on monthly invoices.
- Manage some third-party relationships such as the venue and ticketing companies from a marketing perspective and others as required.
- Support the Marketing Manager – Analysis and Partner Services as required
- Other tasks as required.

The Marketing Manager - Productions must work well under pressure with competing priorities, stakeholders and deadlines and have the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience
- At least five years’ experience working in marketing, in particular experience delivering campaigns.
- Project Management experience.
- Experience in the preparation and writing of reports
- Computer and administration skills including experience with Excel.
- Experience in the theatre, arts or major events sector is highly desirable.
Reporting & key relationships
Human Resources and the National Marketing Consultant, with regular contact with the National Ticketing Manager and external National Marketing Consultant. Also works closely with a range of organisations and individuals including:
- The Executive Producer, providing updates on timelines and deliverables as required.
- The production’s Producers, responding in a timely manner to any requests in consultation with the Executive Producer.
- State based major event companies
- External contractors including the Advertising Agencies and publicists
- The National Ticketing Manager with regard to any ticketing requirements and reporting.
- Production Company office.
Position type
Full-time contract position based at Crossroads Live Australia’s Sydney office.
Salary
$110,000-$120,000 (commensurate with experience).
Travel and out of hours work
The successful candidate will need to be available to travel interstate as required. Some out of hour’s work will also be a requirement of the job. Per diems will be paid at the standard rate and economy airfares, transfers and accommodation will be paid in full by Crossroads Live Australia.
