About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and looking after a team of 3, the Marketing Manager – Social & Content is responsible for leading ghd’s unique tone of voice and cascading this throughout our social channels to increase brand awareness, audience engagement and ROI. This role is also responsible for overseeing the creation and execution of the ANZ influencer strategy and organisation of internal and external events.
Key responsibilities;
- Research, planning and creation of ghd ANZ’s overall social strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement and drive conversion across platforms including Instagram, TikTok & YouTube
- Effectively manage all owned & earned social campaigns, from planning, creation of content and monitoring execution, ensuring KPI’s are set and reported on during and post campaign
- Work closely with Head of Marketing and Brand Marketing Manager to ensure execution of brand, seasonal and new product campaigns are cohesive across channels and meeting key objectives
- Oversee the influencer strategy and its execution ensuring partnerships are in line with brand objectives
- Responsible for social budget including boosting, content creation and influencer activation to ensure ROI
- Analysing external marketplace, industry trends and customer & competitor conversations, keeping a finger on the pulse of current and future trends to act proactively and provide feedback to the business on findings and recommendations
About you:
- You are a social media EXPERT with 4+ years in a similar role developing and executing strategy
- Possess a deep understanding of all social platforms with proven results in increasing traffic, awareness, follower growth and engagement
- Understanding of the full marketing mix and the role social plays within own, earned, and paid strategies
- You have strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to collate and analyse data from multiple sources and provide clear actionable insights
- 2+ years team management experience with a hands-on approach and can-do attitude
- Passion for the hair and beauty industry and enjoyment in a fast paced and diverse role
