Hays recruitment in Darwin is proud to be working with one of the biggest education providers in the Northern Territory to find an experienced Marketing Officer to join their fabulous Marketing Team.
Your new role
You will be responsible for managing a variety of projects, with a strong focus on student recruitment, marketing projects, advertising requirements and ensuring the organisation's brand maintenance.
You will be reporting directly to the Marketing Manager and your role develops and manages marketing plans for the organisation's corporate initiatives, student recruitment, brand, and events, together with various requests from the facilities, schools and centres.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
Collaborating with the internal and external staff members and stakeholders to ensure consistent compliance and be a brand ambassador for the organisation.
Develop and manage the delivery marketing campaigns in line with strategic and marketing plans.
Understand and provide expertise to the Marketing team and good technical skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and digital platforms (Google AdWords, Facebook, and Sprout).
Utilise effective project management methodology.
Provide budget administration for relevant projects.
Additional Accountabilities
Review, manage, maintain, and engage internal stakeholders with a set of effective and user-friendly templates and tools.
Use an evidence-based approach to develop multifaceted brand, acquisition and engagement strategies, tactics, and campaign plans.
Report on outcomes and continuously apply key learning.
What you'll need to succeed
1. A degree level qualification with subsequent relevant experience, in marketing or communications or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
2. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective multichannel marketing campaigns.
3. Exceptional written and oral communication skills and an ability to write autonomously, adapt message and tone to target audiences and edit the work of others.
4. Demonstrated ability to engage in effective and proactive teamwork with staff at all levels, recognising the abilities of others and utilising cooperative approaches.
5. Demonstrated project management and budgeting skills, including the ability to analyse, interpret, report on, and effectively apply learnings from varied data sources.
Essential Competencies
Extensive experience in development and effective implementation of multifaceted brand, acquisition, and engagement strategies.
Desirables
An understanding and knowledge of tertiary institutions.
