Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist to be the driving force behind our marketing initiatives. In this newly created role, Gelion aims to expand our market presence and global reach. You will assume a pivotal role shaping our marketing strategy, with a primary focus on tactical execution and content creation. Using your expertise, you will enhance Gelion's marketing efforts and contribute to the company's positioning in the renewable energy and battery industry on an international scale.
Reporting to our Commercial Manager - Strategy & Marketing and working collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders, the role holder will oversee the development and execution of Gelion’s marketing campaigns and initiatives. Responsibilities & Skills
In this role, your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive corporate calendar that encompasses key industry events, internal updates, presentation and announcement timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company objectives, ensuring cohesive and impactful execution.
- Strategise, plan and coordinate Gelion’s participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences, emphasising brand visibility and engagement.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to create engaging and impactful event material, including presentations and promotional material.
- Manage and enhance Gelion’s digital presence, including social media channels and company website.
- Facilitate communication channels for internal updates, ensuring all team members are well informed about key developments, announcements, milestones & marketing initiatives.
- Contribute to the creation and designing of compelling presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all presentation material.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies and contribute insights to help shape the company’s positioning in the renewable energy, battery industry.
Candidate Profile: Be the game-changer we are looking for!
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in marketing, with a preference for candidates with experience in the renewable energy or battery industry.
- Experience working in a listed business, preferably within Australia, UK or the US is desirable.
- Experience in investor relations is desirable.
- Experience working in technical environment, such as a science, engineering or software start-up is desirable.
- A genuine passion for renewable energy and sustainable solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in an agile start up working environment.
- A collaborative spirit to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn and demonstrates a commitment to personal and professional growth.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to coordinate with our team in the UK.
