Marketing Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Marketing Strategist to join our team on a project basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to our clients' needs. This role requires expertise in proposal creation, conducting discovery meetings, facilitating strategy workshops, and ultimately devising strategies for branding building, B2B marketing, lead generation, and digital marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Proposal Creation: Develop compelling proposals that outline marketing strategies aligned with client objectives and target audiences.
• Conduct Discovery Meetings: Engage with clients to understand their business goals, target market, competitive landscape, and unique value proposition through comprehensive discovery meetings.
• Strategy Workshops: Lead strategy workshops with clients and internal teams to brainstorm ideas, define objectives, and outline actionable plans to achieve marketing goals.
• Brand Building Strategy: Develop strategies to enhance brand visibility, positioning, and recognition across various channels and platforms.
• B2B Marketing Strategy: Devise B2B marketing plans focused on generating leads, nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, and driving business growth.
• Lead Generation: Create innovative strategies for generating high-quality leads through targeted campaigns, content marketing, social media, and other lead generation tactics.
• Digital Marketing Strategy: Formulate comprehensive digital marketing strategies encompassing SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media marketing, and other digital channels to maximize online presence and engagement.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, content creators, and developers to execute marketing strategies effectively.
• Analysis and Optimization: Monitor campaign performance, analyse data metrics, and iterate strategies based on insights to optimise marketing efforts for maximum ROI.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Marketing Strategist or similar role
2. Demonstrable expertise in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies across multiple industries.
3. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
4. Proficiency in conducting discovery meetings, facilitating workshops, and building consensus among stakeholders.
5. In-depth knowledge of branding principles, B2B marketing tactics, lead generation techniques, and digital marketing trends.
6. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
7. Self-motivated and adaptable with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
8. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications in marketing or strategic planning are a plus.
