We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Marketing Team Leader to join the team to play an integral role in delivering targeted marketing and fundraising support to Anglican Care, Samaritans, the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle, as well as support for Newcastle Anglican Schools Corporation.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage a small team of Business Partners and coordinators to drive targeted marketing and fundraising activities, with the support of the Communications and Marketing Manager.
- Develop fundraising strategies and lead delivery of major Samaritans fundraising campaigns.
- Work with services, corporate teams and partners to ensure professional marketing activities and the maintenance of Newcastle Anglican brands.
- Work with key stakeholders including donors, supporters, volunteers, parishioners and media to further marketing initiatives in general.
- Coordinate and contribute to the delivery of Brand, Communications & Marketing divisions strategic and operational objectives identified in yearly operational plans.
- Liaise with the Brand, Marketing, Communications & Customer Experience Leadership Team to ensure deliverables align with the Diocesan Strategic Directions.
- Ability to plan, implement and evaluate brand, marketing, fundraising and event projects.
- Assist with events and general promotional activities for Newcastle Anglican agencies as required.
- Assist with the production and distribution of internal and external publications including both print and digital formats including the website and intranet.
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferably in strategic fundraising in a NFP environment (10+ years)
- Extensive project management skills and strong stakeholder relationship management
- Advanced communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
- Previous experience leading a team and managing workload, often with competing priorities.
- Creative person with demonstrated experience across a diverse range of media applications, digital technologies and CMS /intranet software.
- Have a passion for all things Marketing!
- Demonstrated capacity to operate successfully in a rapidly changing environment and manage complexity, drive change, and effectively manage continuous improvement projects.
- A current Working with Children check (with clearance to work with children)
- National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
