Due to continued growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Logistics Administrator to fill a crucial role in our business. This is a great opportunity which will see you grow and expand your skills in manufacturing and supply chain logistics.
About the role:
- Inventory control from all offsite locations; this includes transfers to off-site locations, and coordinating delivery/pickup
- Organise transport including freight rates and booking timeslots
- Liaise with our customer service and sales team to determine the most efficient and cost effective method for delivery, nation-wide
- Provide internal support for other team members related to logistics and freight booking, scheduling, pricing and capabilities
- Schedule and organise corporate client allocations
- Build positive relationships with Transport companies and ensure key contacts database is maintained & up to date
- Printing of paperwork - POD’s, CHEP Dockets, Transport Con Notes, Plant Health Certificates and any other paperwork required for dispatch
- Reconcile packing slips with PODs from drivers
- Compile Mixed Pallet forms
- Organise 3PL
- Customer Service – sign in drivers, phone orders, customer calls, CRDs for drivers
To be considered for this role you will meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years Logistics Administration experience
- Highly organised with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Relationship Management – internal & external stakeholders to ensure service levels are met to their requirements
- Professionalism - Ensure a professional approach at all times when dealing with customers, subcontractors and internal businesses
- Possess an in depth knowledge & technical understanding of the logistics and freight industry
- Work on projects as directed to support business
- Strong time management, including a sense of urgency, the ability to meet deadlines and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail with high accuracy rates
- Flexible approach to work with a friendly, team focused attitude with a willingness to assist other team members where necessary
- ERP experience in Pronto highly regarded
