V&V Walsh has an opportunity for a passionate individual to help afternoon operations in the Marshalling department, based at our site in Bunbury, WA. We are looking for someone who is driven towards positive results and self-management to join our growing business as Marshalling Operator. You will be responsible for organizing and controlling the marshalling, storing, segregation and loadout of cartoned products for distribution to Domestic and Export locations. This is an Afternoon Shift role, with normal working hours between 2PM and 11PM.
Please be advised that a pre-employment medical, inclusive of a fitness test, baseline hearing test, and drug and alcohol screen, is a requirement for employment at V&V Walsh. We also now require all incoming staff to be Q-fever vaccinated. The Q-fever vaccination will be a part of the pre-employment medical.

Key Responsibilities and Involvements:
- Operations of Carton Marshalling, Chillers 11 & 12 and Loadout areas & procedures.
- Organise product palletisation in marshalling & loadout areas.
- Liaise with all Production Area Supervisors regarding organisation of products and palletisation organisation.
- Ensure Order Picking is carried out as per Order Instructions.
- Liaise with Sales Department regarding orders instructions as required.
- Organise trucking requirements, book / liaise with transport companies.
- Understand & conform to QA Requirements.
- Loading of trailer with both carcass and cartons
- Writing and printing of trailer loads and runs on Food Chain and other software
- Completing and understanding truck paperwork
- MTC paperwork & CHEP transfers
- Driving trucks & forklifts
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience using Triton Management System, Food Chain, and I-Leader (or willing to learn)
- Experience in a Meat Processing facility preferred but not required
- Thorough understanding of Food Safety and Quality Assurance procedures
- High level of initiative, attention to detail and self-motivation
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Time management and organizational skills
- Forklift and HC license
