Access theTell me more...Assist in the provision of safe and effective pharmacy services under the supervision of the pharmacist, which supports the delivery of an efficient and effective pharmaceutical service to Integrated Health Service Weipa and Western Cape York.To be successful in this role you will have:

• Knowledge of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of, practices relevant to receipt, handling, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and dispensing of pharmaceutical products.
• Knowledge of content of Queensland Hospitals Standard Drug List and familiarity with drug names provided under the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme.
• Ability to work with a degree of independence in the performance of duties which fall within the scope of the position and to work with established policies and procedures in an efficient and accurate manner.

Requirements for the role:

• Certificate III Hospital/ Health Services Pharmacy Support or willing to enrol in and demonstrate the ability to attain the recognised qualification within 12 months.
