Your new role 

Submits the request for the creation of all the necessary Master Data for the Western Ridge Crusher Project in accordance with the Master Data Governance Standards and keeps track of Master Data creation in 1SAP.

• Engages with Ops Readiness Asset Integration Lead, MECoE Planning, Finance and Master Data teams to build the required 1SAP Foundation Master Data for the Western Ridge Crusher Project (Technical Object Structure, Cost Centres, Work Centres, Work Order Planner Groups, Task List Planner Groups).
• Engages with Ops Readiness Asset Integration Lead or Reliability Engineer to review technical documentation from the Project and create all required Functional Locations.
• Engages with all team members of the Ops Readiness Asset Integration team (Reliability Engineer, Technical Writer, Spares Specialist, Bill of Materials Specialist) to obtain relevant technical information as required.
• Looks for and records similar Task Lists and Technical Documents to be used for replication for the creation of maintenance strategies.
• Works with Reliability Engineer and Technical Writer to create the required preventive and corrective maintenance strategies (Maintenance Plans, Maintenance Items, Task Lists, DIRs).
• When required and in the absence of a Technical Writer, replicates and adjusts Technical Documents to be used for maintenance strategies: work instructions (WIN), preventive maintenance instructions (PMI) and other strategy related documents (forms and check sheets).
• When required and in the absence of a Bill of Materials Specialist, works with Spares Specialist to create BOMs.
• Prepares 1SAP Load Sheets and submits them via Master Data Requests (MDR).
• Monitors progress of MDRs submitted until completion.
• Starts Maintenance Plans created 4 weeks prior to Load Commissioning.

Ideally, familiar with Asset Performance Management (APM) tool and processes to develop maintenance strategies.

What you'll need to succeed 

• Experience creating foundation Master Data, ideally within Iron Ore.
• Familiar with Work Management processes to easily identify similar strategies across IO (ideally with Planning, Execution or Reliability background roles).
• Familiar with systems and tools used to create Master Data.
• Familiar with Risk Management tools (e.g. Material Risk Framework, Equipment Criticality) used to manage Master Data.
• Ideally, tertiary or trade qualifications in relevant maintenance field(s).
• Confident with seeking further information to ensure understanding where required.
• Confident with seeking guidance when lacking direction or information, and with escalating risks and issues to team leaders.
• Strong attention to detail.
