The ICT Master Scheduler will be responsible for providing specialist advice and executing tasks in the provision of planning and scheduling services to enable resource management, dependency management, monitoring and reporting the progress.
Role Specific Duties:
Develop, maintain and review planning and scheduling standards and practices.
• Provide expert advice on planning and scheduling to ensure the optimum delivery implementations.
• Facilitate planning workshops to ensure proper planning is completed and interdependencies are identified.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the program’s timelines are accurately captured and baselined.
• Evaluate program schedule progress and performance to identify problem areas and advise possible corrective actions to ensure on time delivery.
• Identify and implement planning and scheduling improvement initiatives.
• Ensure schedules are aligned with best practices for program scheduling.
• Map and maintain interdependency linkages to ensure consideration of logic and mutual exclusivity across the implementations.
• Provide proactive updates on schedule resource supply and demand issues and impacts.
• Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
An ‘ideal candidate’ would be someone who can demonstrate the following:
• Experience with Information Technoloy Projects.
• High level written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to provide high level advice and reporting of status, deliverable progress, risks, issues and constraints as required.
• Experience with facilitation of planning workshops to assess implementation timelines and interdependencies.
• Ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships and cross team collaboration to support planning and scheduling services, including the ability to influence key stakeholders across multiple teams.
• Keen analytical eye for detail and the ability to identify weaknesses in schedule design and setup, whilst ensuring best practice scheduling
