AddressExciting opportunity for Automotive Master Technicians/Mechanics to join us at Buckby Motors, one of the largest locally owned and operated car dealerships in Northern Tasmania, with locations in Launceston and Devonport. We are currently seeking a full-time Automotive Master Technicians/Mechanics to join our busy and state-of-the-art service centre in Launceston.
As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of the best car brands including Mercedes-Benz, Subaru, Land Rover, ŠKODA, RAM and more, with the option to specialise in individual brands.
Your role will involve;
- Service and repair work
- All levels of technical diagnosis and fault-finding
- Understanding and following detailed manufacturer instructions including recall work
- On-road testing and quality control.
To be successful in this role, you should have;
- A mechanical trade qualification
- Strong electrical skills
- High diagnostic aptitude
- Hold a current manual driver's license
- Experience in servicing and general repair, along with a first-time fix attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience with one of our brands above is highly regarded but not necessary.
