Materials Consolidator
Work Location: Chichester Hub
- Fortescue's Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.
Role overview:
Reporting to the Superintendent, IS - this position is responsible to deliver safe, high quality work as required to the Infrastructure Services team as the conduit between our Procurement and Execution teams. The successful execution of this work will be paramount in the site achieving safety, cost and production targets. Infrastructure Services Maintains assets across the entire mine site operations and camp facilities including but not limited to accommodation buildings, offices, workshops, fuel and lubrication storage and delivery systems, wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) and water productions facilities (RO Plants).
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide oversight on material delivery in time to allow schedule compliance.
- Oversee urgent freight process
- Coach, mentor and develop SAP WM Procurement and Material Consolation process
- Maintain Rotable items with WHS
- 5S Operational Standards in work Area's, Audits and documentation
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Fortescue process and systems, including but not limited to; SAP, BMS and Success Factors.
- Experience within Procurement or Warehousing teams
- Experience in Consolidation of Materials
