Job description
Manage strategic procurement projects in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring that risk, probity and transparency requirements are addressed. Oversee and deliver high quality procurement advice and services covering; procurement planning activities, sourcing documentation development, release and evaluation processes, contract negotiation, contract management and administration activities. Exercise a Procurement Delegation for sourcing activities certifying that the procurement process undertaken has been in accordance with QPS policies and procedures and the State Procurement Policy. Draft and negotiate Queensland Information Technology Contracting (QITC) Contracts for ICT goods and services in conjunction with stakeholders and suppliers. Administer strategic contracts in collaboration with Contract Managers in accordance with the principles of the Queensland Government Contract Management Framework. Negotiate and consult with internal and external stakeholders regarding procurement and contract related issues to identify specific business needs and to facilitate compliance within the required timeframes. Contribute to the success of the ICT Category Management function through the adoption of sound category and sub-category management practices.
