Materials Coordinaator

2XM Recruit are currently partnering with a leading Rail Manufacturer and Supplier in the search for a Materials Coordinator.
Role: Materials Coordinator
Location: Eagle Farm
Job type: Permanent
Salary: $75,000 plus Super
Duties:

• Ensure efficient material delivery.
• Adhere to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) & Quality standards.
• Facilitate the movement of materials for service jobs, manufacturing, and spare orders to uphold production flow and meet customer delivery needs.
• Manage the opening, maintenance, and closure of manufacturing work orders.
• Initiate requests for quotations (RFQs), requisitions, and online orders for consumables and third-party services.
• Gather and organize pertinent information for maintaining registers and generating reports.
• Promptly escalate material-related issues such as damage, quality concerns, shortages, and delays.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to fulfill material requirements.

Experience needed:

• Experience in a similar role in a Rail/Manufacturing environment
• Knowledge using different ERP systems
• Current Driving Licence
