Materials Engineer

Our client delivers a range of essential potable and raw water infrastructure support and maintenance solutions. They specialise across engineering, raw water services, dams, water quality training, equipment hire and treatment plants.

 There is currently an opportunity for an innovative engineer to join the team as the Materials Engineer on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be based out in Burpengary with the opportunity to have a hybrid working week.  The OpportunityAs the Materials Engineer, you will coordinate and manage multi-disciplinary teams to undertake inspections, condition monitoring and assessments of reservoirs.

  Role Responsibilities Undertaking visual inspections and condition assessment of concrete and steel structures including working with site teams and divers to capture information Undertaking inspections via boats and other vessels of reservoirs, dams, bridges and water bodies. Conducting non-destructive materials testing of concrete and steel structures, and interpreting testing results for condition assessment Producing and reviewing reporting, including condition inspection reports, materials testing reports, defect remediation reports, and technical repair specifications. Position Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

An interest in site works and a practical approach to engineering Time management skills - self-sufficient in progressing projects & able to work steadily to achieve deadlines Sound understanding of engineering and construction principles Reliable, a team player, a pro-active nature, strong organisational skills, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment How to Apply Does this sound like you?
