Lindsay Transport is the largest transporter of fresh produce in Australia, specialising in temperature and time sensitive freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres to help our customers best meet their national supply chain needs.  Today we employ over 1600 exceptional individuals, with roughly 35% based in Regional Australia, and together we service over 2 million tonnes of temperature-controlled freight annually across the country.   About the role: Lindsay Transport is currently seeking several experienced B-Double (MC) Drivers to join the team based out of Dubbo. The positions are for Permanent and Casual Drivers. Duties you can expect with this role include: Completing fixed trip interstate transport runs Working with temperature sensitive produce Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork Interacting with clients in a professional manner Working closely with Depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight About the requirements:  The candidates we are looking for will have: A current MC drivers licence and experience in this licence class Experience in B-Doubles and driving prime movers  Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems Experience transporting chilled freight, frozen freight or livestock (essential) Familiarity with interstate transportation   Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (preferred) A commitment to workplace health and safety (essential) These runs are based out of Dubbo and drive to Brisbane where you will stay the night and return back to Dubbo. Departing time will be approximately 3pm.
