About the role:Our South Australia Business is thriving, and as such we are on the lookout for MCU Operators to join our high performing team. This role will be for our SA sites, either open-cut, underground or quarries.
The role will operate on a FIFO 8 days on 6 days off roster from Adelaide and all accommodation and meals are included during the rostered-on period.
The main objective of the Underground Charge-up operators will be to operate underground production charging unit, in doing so providing a quality service in the delivery of bulk explosives to blast areas in a safe and productive manner.
What you will be doing:- First and foremost, demonstrating and setting the example of our key company value: 'Safety is our Priority, Always';
- Charge-up Duties including Magazine Management;
- Conducting routine inspections and performing minor maintenance of fixed and mobile plants.
- Assisting with the training and mentoring of new team members;
- Working in tight unison with the Drill and Blast Team. all blast crew teammates;
- At all times acting with integrity and respect.
- Previous experience operating an MMU, MCU, HcD or similar blast product delivery vehicle; or
- Previous underground/open cut mining experience (i.e. Charging or mining operations);
- Heavy rigid (HR) vehicle license (advantageous);
- A commitment and attitude toward Safety, Health and Environment;
- Ability to obtain a national police clearance check.
