Our five-year Strategic Plan is focused on growing as an innovative, responsive, and better-connected health service provider for all Australians.Watch stories about our people, patients and the communities we serve atAbout this OpportunityReporting directly to the Head of Flight Operations, as the Flight Operations Administrative Assistant, you will support the delivery of aviation services by providing effective and efficient clerical and admin support to the Flight Operations team, across SA & NT.You will contribute to continuous improvement and innovation strategies across the Aviation department and support the administrative functions resulting from the Flight Operations roster and training and checking operations, for our crew of Pilots and cabin safety trained staff.We believe our people - all of our people - keep the Royal Flying Doctor Service flying.Specifically, you will:- Provide high level administrative support to the Flight Operations team.
- Support the Head of Flight Operations with diary management, travel and accommodation and coordination of internal meetings, agendas and minutes.
- Maintain training and checking records including assisting creating new content for the learning management system.
- Ensure efficient travel and accommodation is arranged for Flight Operations activities.
- Assist with aviation board reports, manual/procedure updates, letters and other adhoc administrative/clerical duties where required.About YouTo be successful in this role, you require:- Experience in a similar administrative role providing support to a senior manager in an office environment (3+ years).
- High level of administration skills including experience in report writing, minutes and letters
- Strong customer service skills with a high level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in diary management & coordinating travel arrangements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Significant experience in maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of business priorities.
