About the Role:
As an MDU Surveyor for the NBN Network, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment and expansion of Australia's National Broadband Network (NBN) in Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs). You will be responsible for conducting thorough surveys of MDUs to assess their suitability for NBN network installation, identifying any challenges or requirements for installation, and providing recommendations to overcome them. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct surveys of MDUs to assess their suitability for NBN network installation.
- Identify and document any challenges or requirements for installation, such as access issues, structural considerations, or equipment needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including building managers, owners, and NBN Co representatives, to gather necessary information and approvals for installation.
- Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on survey findings.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and safety guidelines.
- Work closely with the NBN Co project team to coordinate installation schedules and requirements.
**Key Requirements:**
- Previous experience in telecommunications, construction, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications network infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in surveying tools and software.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
- Driver's license and access to a vehicle.
