Chicken/Poultry and Red Meat Packer/Processor required for South Australian Meat Wholesalers/Retailers and Food Service Company located just outside of the Adelaide CBD.
Early morning starts are required with this employment position. Due to the early morning starts, applicants must have a driver's license, and be able to arrange their own transport to and from work. If you are reliant upon public transport, you will not be suited to this employment position.
Applicants on Student Visas need not apply, as you must be able to work more than 24 hours per week to successfully fulfill this employment position.
All applicants MUST be flexible with their hours of work, able to work from Monday to Friday, and must be able to work 38+ hours per work.
Duties included, but not limited to: Tumbling and Pumping machine operations, Cutting machine operations, Picking and packing of meat orders, vacuum-pack machine operations, trimming, traying, marinading, cutting, slicing, bagging, labelling and boxing of meats, making and preparing: Schnitzels, Shazlicks, Burgers, and other Meat and Associated meat products as well, beginning of the day set-up, end of the day clean-down too. Applicants must also learn to operate and clean machinery too.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential as well.
