About the role:
We are seeking passionate and energetic people to work in our “Value Added Division” who is looking for a hands on position. This is a fabulous opportunity to join our dynamic organization and enjoy the benefits and satisfaction in contributing to the continued growth and success of our business.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Meat Handling to suit customer specifications
- Working in a cold environment
- Packing, labelling and other general food production
- Line set up & dismantling of equipment.
- Demonstrating good safety practices
- Other related activities as required by team leading hand
About you:
- Previous experience in meat processing is preferred.
- Full work rights – essential e.g., citizen, permanent resident holder
- Good communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Work within a team based environment
- Able to do manual handling work that involves standing for long periods with some repetitive tasks
- Be able to handle Pork, Beef & Lamb products
All roles are casual positions for either a 6am start or 1.30pm start Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime.
