We are currently recruiting for a trade skilled (fitter/electrician/ plumber/Refrigeration Mechanic or TA) willing to learn to work shift operations within the rendering plant located at our Tongala facility.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Operational control of render labouring functions, including control of Tallow Quality, Meat Meal.
- Comply with, and contribute to, our highly developed OHS, Quality Assurance and Training programs.
- Ensure you have a reliable vehicle to travel safely to and from work.
- Participate in a well-organized, friendly team environment.
About you:
- Training is given to all new starters by Greenham’s own experienced employees.
- Forklift experience and ticket is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to drive trucks and tractors but not Mandatory.
- Must have a professional work attitude and ability to work with limited supervision.
- Being reliable, having a good attitude, good communication skills and a willingness to work.
- Trade skills are preferred; however, candidates having significant food industry manufacturing experience and are prepared to undergo significant training and industry programs should also apply.
Successful applicants will undergo a physical functional capabilities assessment and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
