Meat Workers

Our client an international leader in the meat processing industry are currently looking for knife hands to commence ASAP. 

 This role includes the following: 

• Knife handling, cutting and processing carcasses 
• Trimming, de-boning, portioning and skinning meat 
• Using knife skills and knife sharpening skills.
• Manual handling meat 
• Meat processing / packing - truck unloading
• Using pallet jacks
• Food handling 
• Working alongside and with plant and machinery
• Container unloading
• Following safe food handling, OH&S and hygiene practices.
• Maintaining a clean, safe workspace and work safely at all times. 

To be successful for this role you will need: 

• Previous experience in a meat processing environment 
• Have previous knife handling experience is required 
• Previous experience in the meat industry 
• Available to work some weekends
• Own transport is preferred
