This firm has an immediate requirement for a contract Mechanical/Structural Design Engineer with Mining Equipment or Vehicle industry background for a 6 week assignment seconded via Connect Personnel. After this initial full time assignment there is likely to be other work.
This intial assignment is a defence project that will involve Structural analysis of heavy vehicle transit tie down points using ANSYS. The tie down points are for transit on an aircraft. Methodology for this design project is agreed with the client and there is a rigourous checking process so RPEQ is not essential.
