Structural Design Engineer

Core talent are currently recruiting for a highly reputable civil contractor, who are a specialist marine contractor with core capabilities in the construction of marine based complex structures. Operating for over 20 years, with projects across Australia, there strength is in marine infrastructure projects with an element of technical complexity, using in-house engineering to deliver successful outcomes in design and construct projects.
About the Role
They're currently seeking an experience Structural Design Engineer to join there in-house team, the role will provide support to the Engineering Manager, Pre-contracts team and Project teams in the development of engineering solutions for projects. Solutions may include construction methodology, sequencing, lift planning, barge arrangement and temporary works design. The role also expects a level of over-sight that the Projects are implementing the methods, designs and plans in accordance with the intent and being managed using company process.
Skills & Experience:

• Tertiary Degree - Civil Engineering/Ocean Engineering/Construction Management
• Previous experience in the marine industry/projects (highly desirable)
• AutoCAD
• Advanced computer skills
• Design experience
• Programming skills
