Mechanic - Leading hand

Are you a qualified Light Vehicle Technician Leading hand with a knack for diagnosing automotive issues? If so, Randstad have exciting opportunities for you to join our team in Hobart.Responsibilities:

• Manage and assist younger technicians with servicing and diagnostics
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
• Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose vehicle problems.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and recommended repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of repairs.

Requirements:

• Leading hand / Foreman experience
• Qualified Light Vehicle Technician with relevant certifications and 4+ years experience
• Proven experience in diagnosing automotive issues and performing repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
