The Role:We are seeking a skilled
Mechanical Assembler with expertise in fabrication and welding to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical components, performing fabrication tasks, and welding various materials to support our production processes. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency in reading technical drawings, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble mechanical components according to technical drawings, specifications, and assembly procedures.
- Perform fabrication tasks, including cutting, bending, drilling, and shaping materials such as metal, plastic, and composite.
- Utilize various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc welding) to join metal components with precision and quality.
- Inspect assembled parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize assembly processes and improve product quality and efficiency.
- Provide input and suggestions for continuous improvement initiatives related to assembly and fabrication processes.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in welding and fabrication is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Assembler, fabricator, or welder in a manufacturing environment.
- Machining experience desirable.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and equipment, including saws, drills, grinders, and presses.
- Demonstrated expertise in welding techniques and processes, with the ability to weld various materials and thicknesses.
- Attention to detail and precision in assembly and fabrication tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
