Great opportunity to join a successful 4WD transport solutions business in the south eastern suburbs, this well-established company has strong stable history in 4WD conversion and is looking for an experienced Mechanical Assistant.
This new position will involve various tasks. It is necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the section to keep up with demand. We need someone with strong mechanical ability to assist trades person in various areas.
You will get involved in Mechanical Fitting, using hand tools, precision 4wd solutions, and after-market Products area work such as pick and pack orders.
Reporting to the workshop Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) Fitting and Assembler of 4WD products, Testing of Products, use of hand and Power tools, a background working on vans would be a big Plus.
TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
- Physically fit to conduct manual handling
- Be versatile to undertake various task in a day
- Hand and Power tools experience
