- Lead the creation, process, design, development, and analysis of standardised product range.
- Developing/reviewing preliminary designs and generating manufacturing drawings with 3D design software.
- Compiling of finalised designs for both internal and external manufacturing.
- Create BOMs from designs and generate job packs/drawings for clients.
- Lead Junior engineers on the process or changes to new and existing products.
- Liaise with wider team on potential changes/improvements for designs or costings.
- Monitor projects to ensure scheduled dates are delivered.
- Mechanical Engineering and design background necessary
- Roughly 5+ years' or more experience (Experience in manufacturing environment highly regarded)
- Competence with AutoCAD 3D Mechanical Design software. (Experience with 'Inventor' highly advantageous)
- Solid communications skills and a team player
