Stand out Experience:
- Day-to-day management and mentoring of Mechanical Design personal, ideally from R&D opportunities through to live projects.
- Technical delivery of key projects from initial requirements, detailed design, testing & validation and manufacturing.
- Involved heavily in driving and motivating a mechanical team towards successful outcomes, working one-on-one and in group collaboration sessions to get the best out of the team.
- Offering technical support across the life cycle of key projects, as well as engaging directly with stakeholders to solve any technical challenges.
- Driving conceptual designs through the PDLC and creating milestones for the Mechanical Design team.
Background:In order to be successful for a follow up call you will have experience in:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics/Robotics with a thorough understanding of complex electro-mechanical products.
- Deep technical understanding of Mechanical Design principals and process, able to guide and mentor others through these processes.
- Must have a collaborative and open approach when leading teams of people.
- You will have solid communication skills with a proven track record of leading mechanical engineers across multiple NPD projects.
- Must be a self-starter, displaying strong resilience and passion for leading teams.
