AddressTutt Bryant Heavy Lift & Shift provide crane hire, heavy lifting and specialised transport solutions throughout Australia. We offer fleet hire and logistic solutions to organisations in construction, mining, refineries, marine, water supply, roads, rails, energy and power, commercial, infrastructure to natural resources extraction.
Our key operation centres are strategically located in Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Darwin, Karratha and the NSW Hunter Region for maximum accessibility, and we are currently seeking a professional Mechanical Engineer to bolster our national presence from our office in Ormeau, QLD.
The ideal candidate will pride themselves on their high level of accuracy and ability to think outside the square.
The skills and experience required for this role are:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years full-time equivalent practical experience in planning, design, oversight of assembly, erection, commissioning, operation and maintenance of Cranes, Transport and Lifting Operations;
- Experience in the preparation and design of Transport Studies and Crane Lift Studies;
- Knowledge and understanding of the principals of design of items for specific lifts and transport movements;
- Preparation, submission and approval of project plans; and
- Working with the Business Development team on developing and preparing tenders and proposals to a technical level for submission.
An attractive remuneration package is on offer for this position with an annual base salary of $100,000 - $120,000 (depending on the level of experience) and other company-provided items and benefits.
